1. London Part I #2

We got to london pretty early in the morning... like 9:30am LT (London
Time) which is like 3:30am NT(NewYork Time)... as you can see it's(the "TUBE" = subway)
really compact in size... feels really stuffed and tight unlike the NY
subway... but definitely cleaner.. :) ...
another thing... they really have "Long-axx" escalators... (No king
lun... not that axx... you r staring @)... many "Tub stations"
used to be bomb-shelters back in the days... that's why the escalators
are so... long... and stretched deep into the underground for safety
purposes...
2. Tech.
The
Million Dollar Homepage

I
wanted to report this a few months back... but didn't get a chance 2...
here you go... if any of you guys have great ideas like this... make
sure you let me know first b4 going public...
You
should have heard about the MillionDollarHomePage most likely already
as it is the 3rd fastest growing site on Alexa's index. This
is not a technology story, but about viral marketing and the Internet.
And this is a topic I find very interesting. Alex Tew, a 21 year old
student from the UK launched a page called MillionDollarHomePage.com (site).
He is selling 10x10 pixel block banners for $100. He has 1,000,000
pixels available. If he sells all his pixel inventory, he has made a
cool Million Dollar. Now you might think, that never works. He already
sold 180,500 pixels ($180,500). On September 22nd when BBC News reported about the million dollar homepage, he was at $74,000. His sales more than doubled in less than 6 days.
cont'd
The auction eBay
for the last 1,000 pixels of Alex Tew's Million Dollar Homepage has ended.
The bids were as high as $160,000 during the bidding time, but at the
end most of them retracted. At the end the winning bid was for $38,100.00. Still
a nice premium, bringing the overall revenue of the site to $1,037,100. The
winning bidder is an eBay power seller.
Alex Tew has initially setup the
Million Dollar Homepage to finance his studies. Because of his huge success he
is deferring his degree. Why study, if you already know how to make your first
million, right?

ALL-IN-ONE-PIC

Pretty kool from the 2nd row... it lasted for more than 3 1/2 hrs... he didn't wanna
leave...
I really think the guys who put the show together made him
leave...
it was pretty kool when he gave out stuff... a bunch of stuff...
also when he made everyone hold up the neon yellow paper boat...
and thousands of them shine under the black lights... kool (see middle pic)
